polypropylene is the PP for short. Foreign product name is Moplen,Escon,Profax. the application range of temperature is -1 4~+120°C
polypropylene is thermoplastic plastic,easy to corrode. It is similar to polyethylene.Most of organic and inorganic acid,alkali and salt are suitable for outdoor exposition besides strong nitric acid,oleum and many strong oxidation acid.
Its specific gravity is low, intension is higher than polyethylene. Its impact brittleness resistance is good in the normal temperature, and will be weak in zero temperature.So, it is widely used in higher temperature environments which are not suitable for polyethylene and PVC. |
